This here is one of those tried-and-true, old-fashioned recipes. It comes from Farmer Kyle's Grandma T! It was a time where you used what you had and worked smarter not harder in getting everything done❤
This dough recipe is so versatile - dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, stuffed rolls - these are the things we make again and again using this classic recipe. You can of course make it completely by hand with a Danish whisk, wooden spoon or just your hands! But I wrote these out with a bit more modern kitchen in mind - a stand mixer/hand mixer or a bread maker with a "dough" cycle. <--That is truly an awesome easy button friends. You don't need to run out and buy one (although I scored one at the local goodwill for like $10). We are big believers in using what ya got!
